Today, it is crucial for any responsible Ukrainian business to be involved in local cultural events and to be on the same wavelength as its audience. kint is also on the same page ;)
This year, we participated in Ukraine's first curated Week of Industrial Design “DVRZ Design Days”. The event served as a new communication and educational platform for young brands, Ukrainian designers, and design enthusiasts.
The “DVRZ Design Days” Week took place from August 18 to 27 in Kyiv, at the production workshop KASSONE and the PANOPTIKUM COLLECTIONS gallery. There, kint, along with 17 other young Ukrainian brands, presented their key design developments to a wide audience for the first time. Within the exhibition, we showcased one of our bestsellers — the puffa sofa by designer Rostyslav Sorokovyi, the mod chair — a development by kint founder Maxym Kulik, and the emit tables by kint's creative director Max Voytenko.
We also provided our mod chairs for the arrangement of the lecture stage at “DVRZ Design Days”, where speakers' performances, panel discussions, and presentations took place.
In addition to kint, the participants of the contemporary furniture, lighting, and decor exhibition included brands such as NOOM, Joyf, SVITANOK, Litvinenko Design, DONNA, AMAZE vase, buro150, Varenycia Design, FURN OBJECT, Yalanzhi Objects, llab.design, LOFU, oitoproducts, PANOPTIKUM COLLECTIONS, ReStyle, EasyStory, and Gardi. Overall, the event was attended by over 1500 guests. This was a great opportunity for manufacturers and artists to showcase their works not only to the professional community but also to a wide audience of modern Ukrainian design enthusiasts.
Maxym Kulik:
“DVRZ Design Days” provided an opportunity to “step out of offices and production facilities” and enjoy live communication with the community of object and interior design. A large number of new acquaintances and plenty of communication on the same wavelength truly inspire and motivate to develop one's own business, to cooperate. We truly feel a historic moment in our cultural movement”.
