We continue riding the waves of design! This year, we participated in the second Ukrainian Industrial Design Week, DVRZ Design Days, which took place from August 22 to 25 at two exhibition venues in Kyiv. kint products were showcased at both locations.
At the first venue, the PANOPTIKUM Gallery at DVRZ, a functional art exhibition was held, curated by renowned Belgian gallerist and collector Jean-François Declercq. It was there, among over 50 unique pieces from 23 Ukrainian artists, that we unveiled our collaborative project with the Ukrainian GUSHKA manufacturer for the first time. The kint x GUSHKA collaboration resulted in a limited edition of collectible chairs — puffa m4 stranded and puffa m4 brushed — upholstered in a material traditional to Ukraine: natural Carpathian wool from free-range sheep. The base of this collaboration is the puffa m4 armchair, part of the bestselling puffa system furniture collection, developed by industrial designer and founder of the Lviv design studio MUDU, Rostyslav Sorokovyi. The second event location was the "Kul’tMotyv" art space in Kyiv, which hosted an industrial design exhibition curated by Ukrainian designer and founder of the NOOM brand, Kateryna Sokolova. At this venue, we showcased our best-selling products in new premium Italian fabrics. This included the puffa system armchairs and sofas by Rostyslav Sorokovyi in bright and stylish bouclé upholstery, as well as the sigga sofa in an incredible black design by kint's creative director, Max Voytenko. We also released a new product at our stand — the taco series of bar and counter stools, also designed by Max Voytenko.
In addition to kint, the exhibition of modern furniture, lighting, and decor featured brands such as NOOM, DIZA, plus object, Litvinenko design, Ppopro, Shishka project, OLK manufactory, DONNA, AMAZE vase, buro150, FURN OBJECT, llab.design, LOFU, and many others.
